1948 Camp Brochure

1948 was the inaugural season for Camp Oak Hill for Girls. That is why there are no original photos of campers or staff. See the 1949 brochure for photos taken in 1948. Nevertheless, the 1948 brochure has fascinating and important information about the historic achievement of Mrs. Irene S. Walker and Ms. Margaret V. Richardson co-founding the first Black female owned summer camp for girls in the U.S.
