1948 Historic Camp Photos

1948 was the first year of Camp Oak Hill. We have determined that these photos were taken in 1948. Some of the photos were scanned from original prints while others are 1948 photos that first appeared in the 1949 brochure. If you can identify anyone in these photos, or if you or anyone you know was associated with Camp Oak Hill from 1948 through 1988, please use the form below to contact us. We want to include the memories of former campers and staff in the written history of Camp Oak Hill, the first Black female-owned camp for girls in the U.S.
